HELIOS Kliniken GmbH use the Content Browser Software Inrever, developed by [j]karef, for the further vocational training of HELIOS staff. The client-server architecture of Inrever allows the individual remote maintenance and configuration of the browser from the training personnel. The software can display both SCROM-compatible content as well as any other web-based format. For the time being, the software for Windows 2000/XP/Vista is available. The learning material is distributed to the staff of the company via a coupon system specially developed for HELIOS. Inrever is compatible with all learning management systems presently available on the market, and can be integrated into the back end of such systems with ease. HELIOS is one of the largest private providers of emergency clinics in Germany and Austria. At present, 24 clinics belong to the corporate group, including four hospitals of maximum medical care in Erfurt, Berlin-Buch, Wuppertal and Schwerin. All clinics are run under the majority ownership of HELIOS Kliniken GmbH and are consolidated.
At the moment the corporate group HELIOS employs around 17,500 staff for a total capacity of 9,000 hospital beds and over 310,000 in-patients annually.
